The Thaw

After days of sub–zero temperature, blizzards and icy conditions, our weather is set to turn wet and windy this weekend, with a gradual thaw. We are warned to expect more problems with icy roads. The thaw may bring flooding as the drainage system may not cope with the sudden increase of water volume.

As am writing this, rain is already falling and the snow is melting fast.  The temperature has gone up, it  is  not freezing  any more. I am glad that I had taken photographs around my garden  the other day. So I could capture the heavenly feel of my garden during the snow. Living is not easy with  freezing heavy snow,  but I love the heavenly looks of it.
